Hello. This is Andrew Falkous of the rock bands mclusky, future of the left and christian fitness.

headlines for those with shit to be getting on with -

mclusky’s new record will be out sometime next year, I need to speak with Marc at Ipecac to work out exactly when. yes, we’ll be touring, the extent of which will be determined by demand. the record is very nice indeed - in fact, there’s no chance whatsoever that you’ll be disappointed with it.

future of the left are playing a couple of shows this November/December but other than that will have to wait until 2026 to begin a new record, owing to life and everything which goes in it.

i’m recording a new christian fitness album in the next couple of months.

further thoughts / things for those with an extra 56 seconds to give up -

this thing here twitter used to work for me just fine, despite the darkness, but now the darkness is too complete to exist in without falling completely to despair. so - i’m trying this. a mailing list format probably works better, I dunno, let’s find out. if not it’ll be something we all shared, like the awful knowledge of kid rock’s existence. Damien is caning the band instagram and we still hang around Facebook like a dad waiting for a step-daughter to finish dance class so don’t worry, this isn’t all there is.

i’ll be writing a lot more once i’ve established there’s at least a somewhat engaged audience for it. if anybody has any questions feel free to ask - the worst that can happen is that I ignore you or commission a hitman to take revenge (*1).

as slaves to capitalism we’ll be selling some ‘classic’ (inverted commas very much author’s own) future of the left t-shirts at bandcamp/shows in the near future (so many people ask about the ‘you need satan more than he needs you’ octopus shirt, so we’re bowing to demand).
